As I promised, I’ve posted the new Vampire Rule that came about at the end of FATE CALLS (Holiday with a Vampire). I’ve added this exciting development in the mythology to the list of Vampire Rules in THE CALLING mythology. This twist will have implications for the future, including possibly a big change for Diana and Ryder (who you may see again in book 10 of THE CALLING!) Many of you have been asking for this special event to happen and so I did my best to give you what you asked for by laying the groundwork in FATE CALLS!

Also check out the Vampire Rules section for info on one of the different vampires you’ll be meeting in FURY CALLS. It’s a Chinese vampire called a Kiang-shi!

I’ve got very exciting news for you! I’ve accepted an offer from Grand Central Publishing for a romantic suspense novel with some major scientific/paranormal elements. Coming in 2010 is my first single title romantic suspense, tentatively titled TAINTED BLOOD. Why do I say “tentatively”? Well, there’s one thing that I’ve learned over the years and that is to not get too attached to a title, especially since I’m so not good at titles.

TAINTED BLOOD is the first book in a series. It features Caterina Shaw, a cancer patient who undergoes radical gene therapy to try and save her life. After the treatments, Caterina finds that not only is she developing inhuman traits, but she stands accused of a murder she didn’t commit. Caterina has to not only battle her own body, but the bounty hunter who has been sent to track her down. I’ll be posting some more info on this book soon!
